First and Second day back to school.

The first day of school for grades 8-12 was on Tuesday. How great. Other schools commenced on the 30th, but ours commenced on the 31st. At times, Mac fields can be great. So great that I might feel the need to quote Mrs Greene, "every day is a great day at mac fields". Yet we all know that is not true seeing that we are now seniors, so I will eliminate the thought of even linking senior life with the quote. Second day back and already teachers have flooded our diaries with stacks of homework. I can't begin to imagine how difficult it will be trying to manage assessments during examination and assignment week.

The first day of school seemed to go well. It felt like everyone was engulfed with confusion and excitement. After all, we were all attracted to the curiosity of our new uniforms, teachers, classes and classmates. I was surprised with my classes. It has really placed me out of my comfort zone, which I take exception to. I do not favour Biology, but I feel I can achieve my goal now that my class only consists of ten students: eight students being of the same stream as myself. English was not the best though. Last year when Tony and Jacinda told me stories relating to their english teacher, I would laugh. Now I know how they feel. Karma has bit me right back on my hairy ass. Their old teacher, who is now my new teacher, is a complete dunce. She couldn't even spell indevidual. Indeed I am also a dunce, but at least I can spell individual without a teachers degree.

Today ran a little different compared to a normal Wednesday. Business Services was unchallenging. I guess the class does reflect the level of struggle - comprehensive level. Likewise CAFS' syllabus was unappealing. On the contrary, maths stimulated struggles for me. Although being placed in the top 2 unit class, I found trigonometry to be my kryptonite. Valid reason as to why I do not belong in the extension class. In year ten, I could barely handle sin, tan, cos. Now there are twice as many! Cosec, sec, cot, making my life ten times more difficult. But with the help of a teacher who I can not understand and the guidance of my classmates (mainly Mable and Cleo) I've understood the topic so far.

I don't think I have much classes with my friends. Perhaps one or two, or even none. It does not trouble me though. In fact, I think it's great now that I have no one to distract me. I can focus in class and actually learn.

Looking forward to tomorrow; Free period, english, BusinessS and CAFS.

P.S: I wouldn't have blogged about school unless something interesting had happened but Eric asked me to blog so I did. Please feel free to bash him.
